Sarah Finch
Sarah is a founder member of the Lions part: and has been involved in the festivals, also the tour of Lilies on the Land, and many other wonderful projects for the company, including a site-specific Twelfth Night for the Isle of Mann millennium festival, in an amazing castle!
One of her first jobs was a year with the Royal Shakespeare Company, (Midsummer Night's Dream, The Winters Tale, Poppy, Peter Pan, Shooting Off, All's Well that Ends Well) For Compass Theatre Company, Miss Julie (title role), The Merchant of Venice/ (Portia). The West End production of Pirandello's Henry IV, with Richard Harris. Gaslight (Bella Manningham). In Regents Park: Ring Round the Moon (Isabelle), Twelfth Night (Olivia). The title Role in Exuperey's Little Prince; Romeo and Juliet (Juliet). She has also worked quite a bit with Riding Lights Theatre Company, and toured a very successful Winters Tale with them last year. She has also done Not I, and Rockaby, both by Samuel Beckett, and two plays about the Holocaust, by Julia Pascal (Theresa and The Dybbuk)
For television, Jane Fox, in Lytton's Diary. Arabella Allen in The Pickwick Papers, Jane Austen in Letters to Alice, Josephine Butler in Scandalous Women. Penny Gyrth in Campion: Mrs Buckham in Catherine Cookson's Gambling man, The Princess in The Princess and the Lute-Player.
Feature Films: Elizabeth Black in Man Dancin, which has won a number of awards around the world! Teacher and voice-over in C.S.Lewis: Dreamer of Narnia for Walt Disney Pictures.
Sarah is bi-lingual in Italian, and has consequently played various Italians for film and TV :Mrs Carbone in Hollyoaks, Clara Petacci in Ten Days To Victory and Maria in Imbroglio, Sarah also works as a director in Italy.
She is about to play Gladys and Squire in Warwickshire Testimony by April de Angelis and directed by Alison Sutcliffe.
