These photos were sent to us by some of the former land girls who wrote to us about their experiences in the Land Army. Click on a thumbnail to see the image full size.

These three photos of harvest time and planting potatoes belong to Mrs K Harris (seen in the centre photo, when she was Kathleen Dwyer), who has very kindly given us permission to show them here. The land girls in the first picture are, from left to right: Mary Anderson, Betty Cochrane, Cicily Alcock and Kathleen Dwyer.
